B-day dinner w my mother
Me and my mother went to Gysinge Värdshus which is a nearby local inn. The main course was deer file and for dessert we had icecream with compote of apples. It was a nice dinner.

At my daughters 18th birthday party we had both a really incredible Chocolate cake her mother made (all cred too you Anna!) and these superb "smörgåstårtor" (ie Sandwich cakes) that my daughters Grand mother made. (All cred to you Ingrid!)
I finally came around and cooked for the first time in quite a bit!
I used chicken thighs, potatoes, onions and cherry tomatoes. The sauce is made from the stock of the dish and a splash of white wine. It all turned out really delish!
